Why do I hear sounds when the computer is in a moving car or plane?

We recommend you disarm Caveo™ Anti-Theft if the computer is in a mobile environment.

You may hear an occasional sound from a disarmed computer while traveling by car or plane. If there is acceleration or deceleration, Caveo™ Anti-Theft can interpret it as tilt, and you may hear the signal for Motion Password™ position 1. You don't need to be concerned about this.

If the sound occurs frequently, and is annoying, try changing either your Motion Password™ position 1, or the position in which you set the computer down in the car or plane. For example, if Position 1 is near horizontal, and you usually set the computer down in a horizontal position, Caveo™ Anti-Theft is more likely to "see" the Motion Password™ position in an accelerating/decelerating environment.
